A vacation to the North Shore of Lake Superior. A peaceful and rejuvenating journey upon the shores of the dark waters of Gitche Gumee. And then, into the deep forest, the southern edge of the Boundary Waters and Superior National Forest. It was another world there for us, a distant land filled with mystery and magic. This was also our celebration of the Autumnal Equinox; Mabon, the second harvest. And what perfect timing! Being further north, the leaves upon the tress were turning, filling the landscape with beautiful bold colors. And the temperatures were very fall like, with highs in the mid-60s and lows in the mid-40s. Brisk night walks upon the lake shore and sunny days exploring nature. And also, this was our Embarkment celebration. With ritual and rite, we celebrated the embarkment on our new journey together. A surprise chapter, yet unwritten, where we have officially begun our journey together. Hopefully, we have blessed the path ahead of us! Happy Fall everyone!
